Cecil County Classroom Teachers Association
CCCTA is the sole bargaining agent for teachers and other certificated employees and represents all Cecil County teachers and bargaining unit members in the negotiations process with the Cecil County Board of Education.
Membership is offered to each Cecil County Public School teacher, counselor, media specialist, behavior specialist, therapist, retired/rehired teacher, and speech/language pathologist.
CCCTA holds monthly representative assemblies which are open to all members. CCCTA promotes ethical practices, works to unify and strengthen the teaching profession, and provides a common voice on educational issues, advocating at local, state and federal levels.
CCCTA is affiliated with the Maryland State Education Association, MSEA, and the National Education Association, NEA.
